BURGLARS have stolen around £4,000 of electronics equipment from an estate agents.
Two men broke into Harrisons Estate Agents, in Newbrook Road, Over Hulton in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
They smashed the front window with a brick, before stealing a number of items, including a brand new Apple Mac computer and two Canon cameras.
The incident was reported to police by a concerned neighbour who heard a loud bang and saw two white men in dark clothing carrying something out of the store.
The crime has also been caught on CCTV.
Clint Hibbert, the owner of Harrisons Estate Agents, said his staff were in tears when they arrived at work and saw the damage.
He said: “All the staff were in tears and have spent hours cleaning up broken glass, drawers and cupboards that had been ransacked.
"Katie in particular was devastated to find her new Apple Mac computer had been stolen, and Francesca with broken glass scattered all over her workspace.
"Two expensive Canon cameras have also been stolen during the raid."
Despite the blow, Mr Hibbert is hoping to get things back to normal as soon as possible and is warning people to stay vigilant.
He added: "We hope to repair the main window by the end of today,
"We would like to make local people and businesses aware and be vigilant during the Christmas period, and would also like to thank our customers and friends for their kind words of support.
If anyone has any information about the suspects, contact the police on 101.
