LAUGHS aplenty are guaranteed when the popular Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club rolls into town this festive season.

Four top comedians will take to the stage at the Albert Halls to entertain with their own brand of comedian on Saturday, December 15 at 8pm.

A spokesman for the Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club said: "This show and the one on New Year's Eve will be jam packed with laughs as we bring the very best comedy acts on the current club scene and breaking talent on the cusp of stardom – we’re the people who previously booked Jason Manford, John Bishop, Sarah Millican and Russell Howard before they were household names."

He added: "Frequently we'll be bringing you comedians off the telly from such shows as BBC2's Mock The Week, Shooting Stars, ITVs Britian's Got Talent, Channel 4's 8 Out of 10 Cats, BBC1's Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, Have I Got News For You, QI, and Paramount's Live at The Comedy Store etc.

"Each show will have four awesome comics including a top host.

"So come and see more brilliant comedians right here in Bolton!"

The line-up on December 15 includes Paul Pirie, Micky P Kerr and Gabriel Ebulue.

Paul began his stand-up career after giving up acting to pursue the funny man that lies within, quickly establishing himself on the Scottish comedy circuit as long ago as 2004.

Soon after that he was awarded runner up in the prestigious annual awards for Scottish Comedian of the Year.

A spokesman for the club said: "A confident and intelligent comedian who makes it his mission to work and entertain his audience, his material is superbly individual and delivers a refreshing burst of laugh out loud comedy that leaves audiences in raptures."

Micky fuses together music, spoken word and comedy, with his tongue often planted firmly in his cheek. Micky is already a familiar face on the live music circuit and is rapidly becoming one to watch, proving to be a massive hit with audiences and bookers alike. Already an award winning comic Micky is performing regularly for many of the biggest comedy promoters in the UK, recording a live set for BBC Radio 1, working on a new sitcom about his previous life as a primary school teacher and recording his latest album of music and comedy.

Gabriel Ebulue is described as a young comic with an old soul. His set covers topics ranging from politics, his obsession with music, race relations and everything in-between. Alongside his comedy career, he is also a music journalist, writing for the likes of Overblown and Stereogum.

The show's MC will be Paul Savage.

Paul started performing comedy in 2007. Since then he has performed all over Britain, from the highlands of Scotland to the bottom tip of Cornwall, and hundreds of places in between. In 2013, he did a tour of English speaking venues in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. In the 10 years he’s been going, he has performed over 1700 gigs, including six runs at the Edinburgh Festival, starting with the the Free Tea and Biscuits Show.

The show starts at 8pm.

Tickets are £17.50 in advance or £21.50 on the door.
