DRIVERS have been urged to keep their vehicles secure and remove valuable items following a number of thefts.
Police were called to reports of thefts from two cars and a delivery van this morning.
At about 10.10am, officers were called to Markland Hill, Heaton, after a theft from a vehicle.
They tweeted: "The offender gained entry to the boot after it was left insecure and stole a Samsung laptop.
"Please ensure you are securing your vehicles when unattended."
Then, shortly before 11am, officers were called to Owsten Court in Horwich, after an offender forced entry to a secure vehicle.
Police tweeted: "The offender gained entry by unknown means and stole a sat nav and dash camera from inside.
"Please ensure you are removing all valuables from your vehicles."
Officers from Bolton North were also called to reports of a theft from a delivery van that was parked in Castle Street, Haulgh.
The offender gained entry without causing damage to the vehicle and stole a mobile phone from inside.
