A SEASONAL library event is bowing out with a bang with a final night of live literature.

Bolton Central Library’s Autumn Live Literature series has included a number of popular live reading events including an evening with debut novelist Glen James Brown and a performance of critically-acclaimed play ‘The Political History of Crack and Smack’.

Now, months of literature will end with a final evening event, held on Tuesday, December 11, at 6.30pm, at the library building in Le Mans Crescent.

The night will include prize-winning British poet Caroline Bird, reading from her latest collection, ‘In these days of prohibition’.

It will be followed by a presentation for winners of the library’s poetry competition, which this year received over 200 entries.

The event is free to attend and no booking is required.
