Car set alight
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blazing car in the early hours of this morning.
It is believed the car, which was on Gainsborough Avenue, was deliberately set alight.
A crew from Bolton Fire Station attended the scene at 2.15am and spent half-an-hour at the site.
Crew manager Andrew Foy said: "The car was well alight and is a write-off. A nearby wheelie bin was damaged by the heat."
