A GREYHOUND rescue centre got into the festive spirit as it held its Christmas fair on Sunday,
Makants Greyhound Rescue NW, which is based in Tyldesley, hosted the event at Boothstown British Legion.
There were stalls ranging from crafts and cakes to luxury goods, and activities for children. Father Christmas also took time out of his busy schedule to attend, accompanied by his greyhound helper Charlie.
The rescue, which is set to celebrate its fifth birthday, raised more than
£2,900 for the greyhounds in its care.
The centre can accommodate up to 15 greyhounds at a time.
