THERE was no room at the inn for Kearsley Youth Brass Band on a saturated Saturday, so the players took shelter in a stable instead.
The band was entertaining shoppers at Spindle Point Christmas Tree farm, Kearsley, when the heavens opened.
Spokesman Stephen Tonge said there was no room in the marquee for the band to play on.
He added: "But instead, a kind lady, Sandra Arden offered us the stable.
"We played amongst the horses and Christmas Tree shepherds.
"A great experience for all our players!"
