The first Pitch and Pitta event at Bolton CVS
BOLTON Community and Voluntary Service is hosting its Local Charities Day on Friday.
From 1pm until 3pm, the Bolton Hub will be home to the unsung heroes of the area and celebrate the commitment of those devoted to improving the lives of people in their community.
Local organisations will also have their moment to share a little more about their work.
Some groups showcasing presentations and films of this year's achievements.
A lunch of pasties and peas will be provided and there will even be some theatrical entertainment to round out the afternoon.
The event is free and attendees can register online.
