PARAMEDICS and fire engines were rushed to the scene this morning when a car slammed into the wall of a home.
At around 10.40, emergency services were called to Roxby Close, in Worsley, to reports that the vehicle had collided with a building on the street.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said two fire engines from Horwich and Agecroft fire stations and the Technical Response Unit from Leigh had been sent to the scene.
On arrival they found the driver of the car had escaped the vehicle and they were treated at the scene by paramedics.
A North West Ambulance Service spokesman said the driver was not taken to hospital and their injuries were not serious.
