POLICE have arrested three men in relation to a robbery at a shop in Over Hulton.
At around 12.20pm today, residents reported seeing three people trying car doors on Manchester Road, close to the McColls store on Rutherford Drive.
After being confronted by the owner of one of the vehicles the trio were seen entering the shop before leaving and shoving stolen items into plastic bags.
The men were then seen trying more car doors on Butterfield Road and Newland Drive.
After receiving calls from witnesses in the area, the police have confirmed that they detained three men this afternoon on suspicion of robbery in relation to the theft.
