A LARGE amount of scratchcards were stolen in a ram raid at a supermarket.
A vehicle smashed into metal shutters at the front of Asda on Bolton Road, Atherton in the early hours of Friday December 7, forcing them open.
Police say a large amount of scratchcards were stolen from the store during the break-in.
A 21-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident shortly afterwards.
The force said: "We were called just after 1.35am on Friday to Asda on Bolton Road to reports a car had crashed into the front of the store.
"Officers attended and a man, aged 21, was arrested a short time later."
