The Met Office map shows the yellow warning for snow and ice
TEMPERATURES are set to dip this weekend, with The Met office warning of heavy snow and blizzards.
A yellow warning has been issued for northern England and Scotland by The Met office for Saturday and Sunday.
Bolton town centre is expected to miss the worst of the weather, but surroundings areas could have snow and ice over the weekend.
The Met Office is warning of possible travel delays with the risk of some passengers left stranded, as well as delays and cancellations to rail and air travel.
