FIREFIGHTERS responded to a car on fire this morning.
The incident is now under investigation by police as a possible deliberate ignition by unknown persons.
At approximately 4:40am, one fire engine was sent to Wicheaves Crescent in Madams Wood, Little Hulton.
The Saab 9-5 was found alight in a wooded area near the road.
The Farnworth crew attended the scene for around one hour.
