FIREFIGHTERS tackled a chimney fire at a house in Laycock Avenue this evening.
Crews from Bolton Central and Bolton North were called at 8.30pm.
They used special equipment to put out the small fire.
There was no damage to the actual fire place.
Crews were on the scene for an hour.
