SUCCESS: Smithills School pupils celebrate success in dance competition
YOUNG talented dancers are moving in the right direction.
Smithills School's Elite Dancers are preparing to perform in the West End after coming fourth in the UK Dance Challenge, held at the Blackpool Opera House.
Ninety-six schools competed in over 50 heats in the competition.
Head of Performing Arts and PE, Andy Milthorpe said:“We are very proud of this fantastic group of dancers who work extensively hard during their enrichment programme to achieve this result”. The group is working on a new routine which will be performed at Her Majesty’s Theatre, London on Sunday, May 5.
