Traffic on the M61
TRANSPORT services are reporting heavy rush-hour traffic on a key street.
A representative Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) warned that cars are moving very slowly on a section of De Havilland Way, outside the Middlebrook Shopping Centre.
The delay is thought to be down to a collision on Junction 6 of the M61, creating delays on the roundabout.
In a tweet, TfGM said: "Heavy traffic on De Havilland Way, Middlebrook towards Junction 6 M61.
"Reports of an RTC on M61 Junction 6 roundabout."
