I WAS pleased to read that the pantomime at the Albert Halls was a great success, but also rather dismayed to read the letter saying the venue was very cold for a recent show.

Sadly, I also have a complaint regarding ticketing for events.

We have recently booked for the Searchers show. We happened to be in town so popped into the hall to buy tickets, but, we were told to book online.

We did book on line, but were charged £1.50 per ticket for this privilege. As we wanted four tickets we had to pay an extra £6 on top of the £24 tickets, making a total of £102 which by any standards is expensive for a couple of hours of music by a tribute band.

We will have to think twice the next time — if there is a next time!
