Snow has been falling in Bolton town centre this afternoon.

A yellow warning for snow is currently in place across eastern parts of the country.

While Bolton does not form part of the Met Office warning, snow now made it's way west and flurries were reported in Bolton.

But the snow has now turned to rain and with freezing temperatures predicted motorists are being urged to take care on the roads.
