THE national law firm, Stephensons, is hosting a specialist seminar to explore the issue of discrimination in the workplace.

Aimed at business owners and HR professionals, the free seminar, held on Wednesday, January 23 at The University of Bolton Stadium in Bolton, will explore the issue of discrimination, what it is and its impact in the workplace.

With legal, HR and business experts leading the conversation, the seminar will provide advice and guidance on how to avoid discrimination claims, the risks posed by discrimination claims brought by service users, as well as dealing with sickness and absenteeism and ways to make your business more productive.

Speakers at the seminar will include Maria Chadwick, Senior Associate Solicitor and discrimination department manager at Stephensons and Philip Richardson, Partner and Head of Employment Law at the firm.
