A MAN who was arrested in connection with drugs that left three teenagers seriously ill in hospital has been bailed.

The 21-year-old man who was taken into police custody on Friday in connection with the investigation has been bailed pending further enquiries.

The investigation continues and the teenagers remain in hospital, say police.

Two boys aged 15, and one aged 14, were admitted to hospital on Thursday and police were called. One of the 15-year-old boys was put in an induced coma and the 14-year-old was at first "critical" but all three are now in a stable condition.

One of the teenagers, who was initially arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs, has been released.

A 40-year-old woman who was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Police initially said that the drugs recovered contained an array of substances including MDMA, ketamine and methadone but have since said a full analysis still has to take place.
