And this year, there will an extra sparkle to the Market Place with Champagne and sparking wines for people to taste and enjoy. As well as wine, gin lovers can also raise a glass at speciality bar.

Festival organiser Matt Farnworth said: “The first festival was a huge success, it attracted a lot of more people I had expected. The feedback I received was really positive. This year, I am planning to have the festival throughout the day and evening on Saturday so it benefit the traders.”

Wine lovers will be able to taste before they buy and find out more abut the wines they enjoy with special tasting sessions and masterclasses.

To ensure all palates are catered for there will be a general bar as well as different gins on offer to ensure there is something for everyone.
