BOLTON'S Hindu community is in mourning for five-year-old Kaiya Patel who has died from a rare form of Leukaemia.
Last year members responded to an appeal to help find a suitable bone marrow donor for Kaiya, who lived in London.
Crowds of people attended three swab sessions held at Shree Kutch Satsang Swaminarayan Temple and Veda Mandir.
Paras Agravat, project development officer for Bolton Hindu Forum, said: "We will continue to hold registration sessions so that others who were in Kaiya's position can be saved."
