A man has been charged after a 31-year-old was stabbed in the arm yesterday morning, Monday.
Kurt Grimshaw, of Old Laurel Gardens, Hindley appeared in court today, Tuesday, after a man was stabbed on Market Street in Atherton at around 4.15am.
Grimshaw, 30, has been charged with section 18 assault and possession of an offensive weapon.
He appeared at Wigan Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday, and has been remanded in custody.
He is due to appear at Bolton Crown Court for a hearing on February 18.
The victim remains in hospital where he is receiving treatment for an arm wound.
