BOLTON Symphony Orchestra will help lift the spirits when it presents its always popular New Year concert on Saturday.
The programme will include music from, and a screening of, The Snowman, as well as music from Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker.
Paul Witkiewicz will be holding the conductor's baton, and the orchestra will be joined by choirs from some of Bolton’s primary and junior schools.
The concert is at The Victoria Hall, Knowsley Street, Bolton, and starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets at £12 each (free for under 19s) are available at the Victoria Hall box office, in advance, or from 7pm on the evening of the concert, and through www.boltonsymphony.org.uk.
