A SMALL boy with a big heart has created a clothing line to raise money for charity.

Harley Carter, aged seven, of Farnworth, sells a range of caps and other hats. He started the clothing line in April last year, when he was just six.

With the help of his dad Matthew and mum Natalie, Harley picks out designs and colours of hats, which are then manufactured locally

The hats cost between £10 and £25, with 10 per cent of all proceeds going to children’s hospice Derian House.

Harley has also got a number of celebrity customers including one of his idols - Manchester United and England midfielder Jesse Lingard.

Harley’s mum Natalie Carter said: “Harley wanted to do something for charity that was a little bit different.

“Over the years my husband has done a lot of things with Derian House so we said to him why doesn’t he do something for them, and they actually invited him down to see what they do.”

At the time of writing, £77 has been raised for the charity through the sale of the hats.
