A SHOPLIFTER who stole four blocks of cheese from a store has been told she must have treatment for drug addiction.
At Bolton Magistrates’ Court Lisa Marie Phelps, aged 36, of Bowland Drive, Johnson Fold, pleaded guilty to taking the cheese, worth £10, from McColls on January 2.
She also admitted stealing items, worth £65, from Matalan on January 25 and breaching a previously imposed conditional discharge.
Phelps was fined £20 and was ordered to have drug treatment for six months. She must also participate in 25 days of rehabilitation activities, pay £10 in compensation and £85 towards prosecution costs.
