BUS routes across the borough have been renumbered to simplify routes for passengers.
The 540 is now the 7, the 593 and 598 are combined as the 8, the 658 is now the 9, the 600 is the 10, and the 601 has changed to the 10A.
The new numbers were rolled out across Bolton, Wigan and Leigh last week.
There will also be some timetable changes for a selection of services to improve punctuality for passengers.
A leaflet, with route maps will also be distributed to households around the services affected.
Stagecoach Manchester managing director, Elisabeth Tasker, said: “It is essential that our services are designed with the people and communities who use them in mind.
"By simplifying the way we number our Wigan services, we’re able to make it easier for more people to travel by bus and take advantage of its value and practicality.”
