TEMPORARY signals will be installed in a main road through Bromley Cross and part of the footpath will be shut for most of the month.
Cadent Gas is installing a new gas main near the Bromley Cross Road and Darwen Road junction.
Work is scheduled to start on Thursday.
According to Bolton Council the installation works will cause severe disruption in the area.
Work is expected to complete by February 27.
