NEARLY 2,000 homes have been affected by a power cut.
Electricity North West said engineers are working to fix the problem, which is affecting homes in the BL2 area.
Just over 1,800 properties were left without electricity two hours ago.
Power has since been restored to the majority of the properties but 384 homes are still affecting.
Street lighting in Bradshaw Brow is also out.
The cut is said to be due to a "high voltage fault".
