JAZZ UP YOUR FISH AND CHIPS

OLYMPUS will be serving up a helping of Latin music along with their traditional fish and chips on Sunday.

Popular Latin band Cuba Vida will be performing, promising to “banish those winter blues with a big serving of rhythm from Rio to Havana.”

The event has been organised by local arts team Live From Worktown.

The band is fronted by the charismatic Jesus Moreau Batallan, who also plays keyboards.

It also features Enrico Marchesi on flugelhorn and Pete Williams on percussion.

A band boasting an “acoustic twist” on Celtic, rock and Americana tunes is returning to a popular town centre venue for the first time in 2019.

Stringbox will be entertaining in Northern Monkey in Nelson Square on Sunday afternoon.

The band are performing from 4pm and praised Northern Monkey as a “fantastic venue” on Facebook.

Northern Monkey offers a changing selection of beers, including their own brews.

GINS GALORE

HEAD to Churchgate for Hogarth’s opening weekend.

The new bar will be featuring music from band Stone Mile on Saturday night. The band will play covers from rock favourites.

Visitors can also choose their pick from the brand new gin and cocktail menu.

Admission is free and Saturday’s event will begin at 9.30pm.

CATCH A CLASSIC

BOLTON Little Theatre will play host to a classic children’s story produced by a professional Bolton group.

Mark Daniel Productions presents the family pantomime Goldilocks and the Three Bears, which has been running all week.

The production takes a twist on the traditional tale but is still packed full of the usual pantomime shenanigans.

BOLTON playwright is bringing hard man Frank Morgan is back on stage to take audiences on a haunting new journey into the criminal underworld in a critically acclaimed play.

Joe O’Byrne has written the character who he performs on stage at I’m Frank Morgan Rewired, to The Met in Bury.
