I READ with interest in the Metro “Dog Poo Fine”, about a pet owner caught on camera failing to pick up dog mess and getting a fine of £100 with £3,873 court costs.
This is good.
So why not ask our young girls and lads when they are out with their mobiles to film any of these abusers, and possibly for every successful prosecution award them £50 out of the costs?
It would give them an interest and maybe it would lead to more prosecutions and possibly more money for the courts.
People who do this kind of stuff are not really dog lovers and should be prosecuted heavily.
How much nicer would it be for the public and the street cleaners, bless them.
