JURASSIC Park — he's coming back to our screens at long last.

The first trailer for iconic broadcaster Alan Partridge's return to prime time TV has landed.

In the trailer an anxious Alan (Steve Coogan) is prepping to go on air and repeatedly asking for water — which is not forthcoming.

Suited and booted and clearly still off the Toblerone a suave looking Alan is joined on the sofa by his glamorous new co-presenter Jennie Gresham (Susannah Fielding).

Alan's new six-episode series, This Time With Alan Partridge, will air later this month on BBC One, a quarter of a century after his BBC debut.

The show has been described by the BBC as "a heady mix of consumer affairs, current affairs, viewer interaction, highbrow interview and lightweight froth", destined to be bang in the sweetspot for a man whose on air magic has been labelled "equidistant between chitchat and analysis".

It will be the TV star's and former local DJ's first return to the live big time after his faux pas filled series Knowing Me Knowing You was binned after a guest was shot live on air.

Also joining Alan will be Simon 'formerly known as sidekick Simon' Denton (Tim Key) and his long suffering PA Lynn (Felicity Montague).

This Time has been written Steve Coogan with Neil and Rob Gibbons, who have also directed.
