DRIVERS experienced delays due to a two-vehicle collision in Kearsley.

Police diverted traffic away from the incident in Bolton Road yesterday afternoon.

Several bus routes were also affected.

At 4.20pm, First Manchester tweeted: "Service Update: Bolton Road in Kearsley has been reopened by police. All eight services to resume normal routes."

The crash occurred near to the junction with Highfield Street.
