ARE you ready to sing?
Bolton-based The Cottontown Chorus is on the search for new talent to join their multi-award winning male voice choir.
The Barbershop choir celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and is inviting those who enjoy performing and can hold a tune to sing with them.
David Kitchenham from The Cottontown Chorus, said: "We are the UK Champions and are looking forward to the 2020 National Champions and are planning ahead. It is a great feeling to be part of a chorus, it has great health benefits and camaraderie is great because it is a team sport and you are part of a performance."
Although auditions are necessary because is it is a competing chorus, David said not to be disheartened if your not taken on straight.
"I got in on my second audition, " he said, "We are looking for people who can hold a tune and enjoy singing, they don't need to read music. It is an amazing hobby."
The chorus has travelled across America and played at the country's renowned venues.
Those interested can drop-by a rehearsal tonight at Turton School, via the sports entrance from 7.30pm or email davidk@cottontownchorus.co.uk
