A CAR that was reported missing from an address in Liverpool was discovered in Bolton by police officers.
The vehicle, a white Ford, was found with heavy damage to a front wheel arch in a Horwich street on Wednesday evening.
After finding the car, officers from GMP's Traffic Division performed checks which revealed that the vehicle was reported missing in July of last year.
It was also found to be displaying false licence plates and was taken away by recovery vehicles.
Anyone with information about suspected stolen vehicles should call police on 101 or use the Live Chat function on www.gmp.police.uk.
