Woman cut out of car after collision
A COLLISION on the A6 near Blackrod resulted in a casualty being taken to Wigan Infirmary.
The incident happened during rush hour this evening, at around 5.15pm.
The fire service cut the injured woman free from her vehicle.
A spokesman for North West Ambulance Service said her injuries are not life-threatening.
