BOLTON Museum was showcased on national television yesterday in a debate about whether Egyptian Mummies and human remains should be displayed publicly.
ITV's Good Morning Britain team were at the new Egypt gallery, where a mummy is on display before the debate continued inside the studio.
Children interviewed for the programme had differing views, with one saying it was "a bit disgusting", while others said it was exciting to see a mummified body. Former Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq argued against displaying remains in this manner saying it was disrespectful because it depends culturally if they wanted to be on display, while Real Housewives of Cheshire Leanne Brown said it was educational.
