The micropub, Northern Monkey, located in the town centre was founded in 2016 by brewers Liam Convey and Ryan Bailey. From craft cask ales, to prosecco, to spirits, this northern brewery has it all. If you fancy a traditional pub experience head to the award-winning pub in Bolton. After winning several awards for its beer, Bank Top Brewery opened their own pub Bank Top Tap, in April 2010. The pub in Astley Bridge, offers nine ale hand pumps, a range of ciders, international bottled beers and an extensive wine list. This traditional inspired pub also gives beer lovers an opportunity to sample beers from the tasting tray. Nook and Cranny

Enjoy a range of craft ales from around the world at your local micropub. Situated in Bromley Cross the micropub, Nook and Cranny, serves craft ales and traditional ciders from Tuesday to Sunday, 12pm until late. The micropub which opened in March 2018, serves local quality ales from brewers such as Northern Monkey, Blackedge and Northern Whisper, as well as ales from around the world. With ten kegs, three real ale hand pumps and five traditional ciders, the Nook and Cranny has plenty of different drinks for beer lovers to try. For those who prefer something different to beer, there are wines and spirits available. You can even bring along your furry friend to the dog friendly micropub. The Brewery Bar

Treat yourself to a pint of local beer from an award-winning brewery this week. The Blackedge brewery opened up their own micropub, the Brewery Bar in February 2015. The bar serves its own beer and real ciders, as well as a selection of wine, spirits and cocktails from Wednesday to Monday. With the low background music creating a relaxed atmosphere, the Brewery Bar is perfect for unwinding with friends.
