INTERNATIONAL Women’s Day will see female activists taking over Bolton’s radio station.

Bolton FM will once again dedicate the whole of Friday’s broadcasting to an all-female line up.

It all starts with the breakfast show at 7am with a two-hour fitness breakfast from fitness queen Sally Bolton from Eat,Train, Love.

Guests will include Maura Jackson, CEO of Bolton homelessness charity BACKUP, and Suzy Orr of Unique Ladies Network which wants to “conquer the world” by empowering women in business.

Women from Bolton Council will host the 9am-11am show which features guests including Jody Cunningham , the England Rugby League player and ambassador for the Rugby League World Cup.

Between 11am and 1pm, The Bolton News’ Angela Kelly will be focusing on the important work done by women volunteers in the Bolton community, including a special feature on FORTALICE.

From 1pm to 3pm Dr Helen Wall and Georgia McGuiness will be discussing women’s health and opportunities for young women in today’s work environment.

Drivetime, from 3pm to 6pm, will be presented by Jayne Hilton and Sophie, and will be followed by the two-hour Review Show with Dorothy Gordon.

Then its the Ultimate Dance Show from 8pm till 10pm before local artists Jenifer English and Chrystal present The Realness Radio Show.
