AN offender is to be sentenced after being caught driving a stolen car.
Police stopped the black Seat, which was stolen and a false plates, in Farnworth last Friday.
The driver, who was also wanted for three other offences, was then arrested at the scene.
However the passenger attempted to flee but was caught and arrested by officers after a short distance.
GMP Traffic tweeted an image of the vehicle, writing: "This car was seen by SRTT staff in Farnworth last Friday.
"The driver attempted to make off but was detained at scene and the passenger was detained a short distance away.
"Car was stolen on false plates. Driver was also wanted for 3 other offences. Now awaiting sentence."
