Here is a low down on all the roadworks across Bolton which could affect motorists this week.

Bolton

Bertha Street

Road closure at the junction with Halliwell Road which has been in place since Friday.

This is to allow Cadent Gas to install a new gas main and is expected to run until March 22.

Blackburn Road

Off-peak lane closure from March 11 expected to run until March 15.

This is to allow Electricity North West to install a new connection in the footway.

There are also temporary traffic lights at the junction with Westminster Road from 7pm to 10pm on Match 14 only.

This is to allow for manhole repairs by United Utilities.

Bradshawgate

Lane closure as part of ongoing building demolition work which started on February 25.

It is expected to be in place until May 31.

Bride Street

Road closure at the junction with Halliwell Road which has been in place since February 19.

This is to allow Cadent Gas to install a new gas main and is expected to run until March 12.

Chorley Old Road

Temporary traffic lights from Mcdonalds to Montserrat Brow which have been in place since March 4.

This is to allow for highways patching by Bolton Council and is expected to run until March 29.

Church Road

Temporary traffic lights from no. 223 Ivy Road which have been in place since February 15.

This is to allow Cadent Gas to install a new gas main and is expected to run until March 21.

Coronation Street

Lane closure from Newport Arcade to Victoria Square.

Part of year long reconstruction of the Octagon Theatre.

Expected to run until August 19.

Darwin Street

Road closure at the junction with Halliwell Road which has been in place since March 8.

This is to allow Cadent Gas to install a new gas main and is expected to run until April 4.

Grove Street

Road closure at the junction with Halliwell Road which has been in place since March 8.

This is to allow Cadent Gas to install a new gas main and is expected to run until April 4.

Halliwell Road

Temporary traffic lights from Eskrick Street to Gladstone Street in place since January 2.

This is to allow Cadent Gas to install a new gas main and is expected to run until April 25.

Hobart Street

Road closure at the junction with Halliwell Road in place since February 19.

This is to allow Cadent Gas to install a new gas main and is expected to run until March 19.

Horace Street

Road closure at the junction with Halliwell Road in place since February 19.

This is to allow Cadent Gas to install a new gas main and is expected to run until March 19.

Howell Croft South

One-way outside the Octagon Theatre.

Part of year long reconstruction of the Octagon Theatre.

Expected to run until August 2019.

Red Lane

Temporary traffic lights at Red Lane Primary School between March 11 and 13.

This is to allow telecoms work by Virgin Media.

Smithills Dean Road

Temporary traffic lights at St Peter's School which have been in place since February 11.

This is to all for construction of a watercourse diversion and manholes by Bolton Council.

It is expected to be completed by March 12.

Weston Street

Off-peak Stop/Go boards at the junction with Rishton Lane on March 13.

This is to allow for sewer works by United Utilities.

Farnworth

King Street

Road closure at the junction with Market Street between 9pm and 6am on March 13 and 14.

This is to allow telecoms work by Openreach.

Lostock

Lostock Junction Lane

Road closure on March 12 between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

This is to allow for manhole repairs by United Utilities.

Horwich

This to allow works to rectify remedials in the carriageway by United Utilities.

Lower Leigh Road

Off-peak temporary traffic lights between March 11 and 15.

This is to allow Cadent Gas to remove a gas pipe on the bridge.

Park Road

Off-peak temporary traffic lights on March 12.

This is to allow telecoms work by Virgin Media.

Wigan Road

Off-peak temporary traffic lights at Hart Common from March 11.

This is to allow for resurfacing works by Bolton Council and is expected to be completed by March 29.
