SNOW has fallen across Bolton this morning following a warning from weather forecasters.
A flurry of thick snow fell across the town for about half an hour from 10am, leaving a thin white blanket in some parts.
A yellow warning for snow and ice was in place this morning, and a further warning has been issued for tonight and tomorrow morning.
The Met Office is predicting icy patches and wintry showers later this evening and first thing Monday, creating a few travel problems.
Meanwhile, hail showers are forecast throughout this afternoon, with temperatures expected to stay in the region of 6°C.
