A BAR attached to a Horwich brewery has been named the best in town.
The Brewery Bar, which gets its drinks from the independent Blackedge Brewery, has been handed Pub of the Year by Bolton's Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).
The bar is located above the brewery at Moreton Mill, in Hampson Street.
Blackedge Brewery was first started by business partners Wayne Roper and Shaun Reynolds in 2011.
The pair were already celebrating last year after Blackedge was named the best independent craft brewery in the North West at the coveted SIBA North West Independent Beer Awards.
The prestigious awards, run by the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) and held at the University of Bolton Stadium, are judged in a blind tasting by brewers and beer experts and said to be seen as "very much as the brewers' choice awards in the industry".
