MAGISTRATES have jailed a man for 22 weeks after he was caught with offensive weapons, including a knuckle duster and claw hammer.
Kyle Pearl, aged 31, of Tonge Moor Road, Tonge Moor, pleaded guilty to possessing the weapons and also drink driving, while banned and without insurance in a VW Golf on Midhurst Drive, Bolton, on September 23 last year.
Bolton magistrates were told Pearl had the weapons in potential dangerous circumstances and had previously shown blatant disregard for court orders.
He was banned from applying for a driving licence for 20 months.
