STORMY weather caused damage to property in Bolton last night.
Gusts of more than 40mph were accompanied by heavy rain after Storm Gareth swept across Bolton.
On Wednesday morning, residents of Willows Lane, Deane, woke to find a brick wall had been blow into the street causing damage to a blue BMW which was parked there.
Elsewhere, transport authorities warned of disruption to road and rail travel and noted flooding on sections of motorway.
Earlier in the week, motorists noted flooding on Bradshaw Road close to Jumbles Country Park, with some vehicles seen aquaplaning.
Met Office forecasters expect rain early this morning to dissipate during the afternoon, with gusts of between 30-40mph continuing until Friday morning.
