FASHION designer and former 'Spice Girl' Victoria Beckham has designed a new line of trainers inspired by Bolton.

The 'Reebok Victoria Beckham Bolton' is a remake of the iconic Reebok Classic Bolton design from the 1990s.

The original trainers took their name from the town, due to it being the birthplace of the Reebok brand.

Reebok was founded in Bolton in 1958, by Joe and Jeff Foster, as a companion company to their grandfathers' business J.W. Foster and Sons.

The company enjoyed a long association with the town and for years manufactured Bolton Wanderers' kits and sponsored the stadium.

Although shooting to fame as 'Posh Spice' in the Spice Girls, Mrs Beckham's new trainers are perhaps more fitting of 'Sporty Spice'.

Two versions of the running shoe have been designed.

The 'Bolton', features a built in supportive knit sock and costs £229.95.

While the 'Bolton Lo', which is more of a traditional design, costing £199.95.

They are both available in two colourways - wild khaki and solar orange.

The trainers officially go on sale tomorrow.
