PASSENGERS in Bolton may find their train is delayed or cancelled this evening after a "disturbance" on one of the services.
Northern announced that, due to passengers causing a disturbance on a train between Preston and Bolton, some lines are blocked.
They tweeted: "Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to one hour. Disruption is expected until 8.30pm.
"Please expect delays of up to 30 minutes this evening on services between Preston and Bolton due to passengers causing disturbance on a train.
"For passengers on station platforms, please listen for announcements or consult customer information screens for up to date information.
"If you have been delayed by 15 minutes or more, hold onto your tickets and claim compensation by visiting northernrailway.co.uk/delayrepay."
