FRIED chicken lovers can see how their favourite dishes are made during an open kitchen event at KFC.

The Walkden branch is one of 300 restaurants in the UK and Ireland letting customers get an exclusive look behind the scenes, on Saturday March 30.

Customers get the chance to see how the famous Original Recipe chicken is made before having a go at hand-breading and frying it themselves, and building a burger.

Including in the £5 ticket price is a burger, a piece of chicken, fries, a side and a drink.

You also get a KFC apron and hat to take home.

Profits from the tickets go to the KFC Foundation, which supports local charities that provide young people with employment prospects and safe spaces to socialise.

In 2017, KFC opened up 100 of their restaurants and due to popular demand, they will be opening up three times as many this time around.

Other restaurants taking part in Greater Manchester are Prestwich, Deansgate and Trafford Retail Park.

Tickets are available from See Tickets.
