MOST people only see Bolton from the ground but images take from space show a new side of the town.
The latest Google Earth pictures are a mixture of general photographs, aerial shots and satellite imagery mapping the town in 3D.
The Bolton News has reproduced a selection of these pictures, including iconic places such as the town hall, Hall i'th' Wood Museum and Bolton Parish Church, as well as landscapes shots of the town.
Not everything is part of this 3D matrix, with some landmarks, such as the University of Bolton Stadium, at the Middlebrook Retail Park, Horwich not yet available.
