RESIDENTS are being invited to have their say on heart and respiratory care in the town.

A public meeting is to be held by the Bolton Cardiac Support Group this week about the town’s plans and priorities on the subject.

During the evening the meeting will welcome representatives from the Royal Bolton Hospital and Health Watch Bolton who will give talks on the trust’s strategy for the next five years.

It will also address the NHS 10 Year Plan, which now includes cardio and respiratory care as one of its priorities, and how Bolton is involved.

The outcomes of the plan will affect patient care in Bolton and nationwide over the next decade.

Open to all, the meeting starts at 7.15pm on Wednesday at The Friends’ Meeting House in Silverwell Street, Bolton and will finish at 7.45pm.

Light refreshments will also be served.
